Steps to improve the reputation comes as a survey last week revealed that one in five BlackBerry users are considering switching to another phone. Business 'core' BlackBerry - provides secure email and messaging for business - seems to be under threat.
Announcing this free application, deputy CEO of RIM, Mike Lazaridis, said, "Our global network supporting the communication needs of more than 70 million subscribers. We really appreciate and uphold the values our relationship with our customers."
Free application will include SIMS 3, Bejeweled, Bubble Bash 2, and Shazam Encore.
